Paper Preparation (Doc/Docx Format) and Template

Papers must be written on A4-format page according to the IEEE template Manuscripts of at least four (4) pages and up to six (6) pages, including figures, tables, references, and appendices. Submissions exceeding eight (8) pages will not be processed. We strongly advise using the standard IEEE conference proceedings templates at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html to ensure your submission meets the required format and requirements.

ICONS-IoT 2025 Papers Submission Guidelines

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full papers for review. Only original papers not published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered.

Technical Papers must be submitted via the EDAS Paper Processing System.

During the initial paper submission process via EDAS, the authors must ensure that the PDF file and EDAS registration page have the same list of authors and the paper title. Be sure to add all authors in EDAS during the submission process. Your active participation in this process is critical to the success of your submission. Please comply with this rule, or your paper may be withdrawn from the review process. Once reviewed, the listing of authors connected to the paper can NOT be changed in the final manuscript.

The format for the manuscript must satisfy the following requirements:

• Manuscript must be in English
• The manuscript must follow an IEEE two-column format with a single-spaced, ten-point font in the text. The maximum manuscript length is 6 (six) pages. All figures, tables, references, etc., are included in the page limit.
• Papers must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) format.
• Authors MUST submit their papers electronically using EDAS. The submission process involves the following three steps:
1. Creation of a personal account on EDAS (if the author does not already have one) www.edas.info

Please make sure the title, name, and affiliation data are correct for all authors. We will use your data in EDAS for the name tag, program book, proceeding, etc.

2. Submit your papers using the following EDAS Submission Links: https://edas.info/N32730

Note: Be sure to provide information for ALL AUTHORS, including affiliation and country, when registering the manuscript. Authors cannot be added after the paper is reviewed.

3. Upload of the papers in pdf format. The maximum length of final manuscript is 6 (six) pages.

PDF IEEE Xplore Format

Conference papers are to be submitted electronically (.pdf form), with file size limited to 20 MB. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and submitted to IEEE Xplore® online digital library.

IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®.

The most important issue that every author shall pay attention to is to make sure that all the fonts used in your papers are EMBEDDED and SUBSETTED, especially for papers from Asia and Europe. Failure to embed and subset fonts is the biggest obstacle to PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore® and please ensure that your PDF files comply with IEEE Xplore®. Papers failing to meet the IEEE Xplore® PDF requirements may be rejected.

Please note that all final papers may be converted using PDFexpress from the following link by the IEEE PDF specification. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at ieee-pdf-express.org or click the following button to register at IEEE PDF eXpress.

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check your PDF file or to convert a .doc/docx Paper into an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file.

Important IEEE Policy

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (including its removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the meeting.

Papers are reviewed to ensure they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted simultaneously to any other conferences/workshops/symposia (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously, and the IEEE Communications Society will take strict action against any author who engages in either practice. Please follow these links to learn more:
